'Monday Mums'

An oasis in the week ...

'Monday Mums' is a group that aims to provide mothers with an oasis during the weekwhere they can learn more of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. It is also a safe place in which to find friendship and support. We meet in the Trinity Centre Monday during school term time, 12.30pm - 2.40pm (ending in time to collect older children from school.)

At 'Monday Mums' we enjoy a bring-your-own lunch with the children and other mums. The children then go into the crèche to play while mums enjoy a time altogether sharing news and then singing worship songs before breaking into small groups for Bible Study and Prayer.

"I met Elizabeth at Bluebirds mother toddler group and she invited me along to the Monday Mums Groups. I found that everyone was friendly and we all have children about the same age. We have a packed lunch together catching up on the week and with the children looked after in the crèche we have about 90 minutes together - someone guides us through the topic and we together unravel the bible passage, what it means to living everyday life in the modern world. As I write this I am aware that my life is changing and I am finding myself thinking more about trying to do the right thing."
