Neighbourhood

Our church is in the attractive and developing town of Wallington, 10 miles south of Central London and 2 miles from open Surrey countryside.

Schooling

In Wallington, and the surrounding areas of Carshalton, Hackbridge, Sutton and Croydon there are a number of excellent options for schooling from primary eduction to secondary and into college. For this reason, Wallington attracts a large number of families who live in the various housing options - council, rental and private. We are connected to Holy Trinity Junior School and we have children and youth in a number of our local schools.

Town Centre

Wallington Town Centre is a hub of activity  - with a local library, public hall, plenty of restuarants, eateries, coffee shops, large retail outlets and pubs. It has recently enjoyed a "makeover" which has made the pedestrian pathways wider and more aesthetically pleasing. Wallington also has a state of the art health centre being built in Shotfield - which will provide health care for a vast majority of the town.

At Holy Trinity we have a great relationship with our local Community Support Officers, who provide a real presence in our community and valuable support to our church.

Oasis - our local Christian bookstore

Oasis is a great resource for the local churches and the community. Situated right in the middle of Wallington, do visit if you get a chance.

Transport

There are several great transport links both for local use and travel into Central London. London is just 35 minutes by train from Wallington Train Station with useful links from London Victoria all over the country. Gatwick is also a short journey on the train. If you wish to travel to Heathrow the local bus x26 runs regularly. 

The National Express coach also travels through Wallington.
